Fertility counselling must be provided by professionals accredited by the Australian and New Zealand Infertility Counsellors Association (ANZICA). Counsellors at registered clinics in Victoria are experienced in ART, donor conception, and surrogacy-related counselling.
Unfortunately, Mandatory Fertility counselling is not covered- however there is some access to Medicare coverage for certain types of counselling required during fertility treatment- such as those with a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. At Dr Rachael Knights Practice we include a counselling session in your treatment packages.
